Easter Workshop at Sheffield Children’s Hospital

Easter Workshop at Sheffield Children’s Hospital

Our fabulous  artists Lizzie and Zoe visited Sheffield Children’s on 28th March to undertake an Easter themed workshop. Here is a summary (as told by Lizzie) of what Lexi and Adam enjoyed making  at the fun filled workshop.

“Today Myself and Zoe were lucky enough to meet the lovely Lexi and her wonderful mum and Dad.  It was quite a surreal moment as we both did not know we were meeting quite a super star; a very brave and determined young lady.
Lexi had met some very famous people from the X factor; all due to the fantastic work  Daniel Barnett’s Charity gave to her and her parents, to help give this very young brave talented little girl a day to remember.
Lexi loved making the flower and painting her Rabbits in a Field painting.
Her dad told us that she loves being creative, and loves every thing about using her creativity, it helps her lots.
This morning it helped to give her a distraction and strength to enable her to swallow the medicine she was struggling to drink.
We were so pleased we could help.
Adam enjoyed making his flower with Zoe. He spent his time ; dipping chips into ketchup, then quickly cleaning his fingers between munches to stick and fold his beautiful flower. His mum was very happy and proud and loved the result”.

Here are the fabulous pictures of Lexi and Adam’s super creations!  We are so pleased that Adam and Lexi had a great time.
