Billy Mathis ran the Boston Marathon 16/04/2018

Almost 4 weeks ago Billy Mathis from the USA took part in the Boston Marathon.

Billy wrote on his Just Giving ‘

”I’m running the Boston Marathon to help raise awareness and funds for a great charity! I’ve had family members succumb to this disease and look forward to the opportunity to help.
Anything you can donate would be awesome, no matter how small, and every penny will be spent supporting people all over the United Kingdom.”

He chose Daniel Barnett Arts Foundation Charity to benefit by way of donations for completing the 26 mile run..the weather was not on Billy’s side, we think he did amazing by completing in 5 hours 2 minutes and 2 seconds!!

We are so grateful for Billy’s generosity, the money raised will help us fund the amazing work our Charity provides to individuals facing life changing challenges.

We would like to thank Billy, and of course everyone who sponsored, and we truly are appreciative of everyones continued support. Much love Team DBAF 💙💙

Here is Billy holding his medal, proudly sporting our Charity Logo. 💙

We had lots of amazing support, here is  photo of a local school we work closely with, holding a message of encouragement and well wishes to Billy Mathis 💙

We was and still are overwhelmed that you chose our Charity to support and raised an amazing $507.21USD (£375.19). 🇺🇸
