On Saturday 2nd September, Thomas Rotherham College held an event to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Staff, students and governors both past and present were welcome to attend and see displays reflecting the five decades of TRC.
Daniel Barnett Arts Foundation were very honoured to be invited and happy to have the opportunity to talk about the charity with visitors. We also displayed some wonderful artwork of Daniel Barnetts, a former TRC student.
TRC Principle, Dr Richard Williams spoke about Daniel and Daniel Barnett Arts Foundation to attending guests, including Mayor of Rotherham Cllr Eve Rose Keenan.
We sold some of the art work on the day, including Daniels interpretation of a Van Gough which had previously been displayed in All Saint Square by Rotherham Gallery. Thank you to Angela and Tim, we hope you enjoy your new piece for many years to come.
All in all, it was a wonderful day and all of the money made will contribute towards our ongoing workshops in local hospitals. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your celebration TRC.
