Sloth Art Workshop Leeds General Infirmary

How were you feeling prior to the art workshop with your artist?

Karin said “Lonely”.
Having treatment at Leeds General Infirmary, isolated from family, friends and missing everyday activities such as school and clubs.

Emma is the Daniel Barnett artist who helped Karin and other children become creative and enjoy taking part in the art workshop.

The theme was Sloth Day. Sloths are always popular with children and they were excited to get creative. All equipment is provided by Daniel Barnett Arts Foundation.

Felt Sloths Created by attendees at our recent art workshop.

An amazing day of arts and crafts was delivered in Leeds General Infirmary.  A sloth day… although any thing could be created with Mother’s Day just round the corner. Sloth badges and magnets were made from felt by the young people and parents! Some of the movable sloth packs were pre-made for younger children to complete when they were feeling a bit better.

The lovely Karin had a wonderful time and her feedback from consited of feedback that simply said Great!
